A 22-day-long summer coaching camp, organised by Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), concluded at Rourkela today. Altogether 1,200 school students from in and around the steel city received basic training in 15 disciplines under the guidance of experienced coaches.
Speaking at the colourful valedictory function at the Ispat Stadium, RSP Executive Director Balbir Singh said the annual event would be helpful in introducing youngsters to sports and bringing talents to the fore. Trainees in athletics and hockey were provided with kits.
